It's a fairly clean hotel nestled in a Spanish-style building in a pretty quiet area. A wide array of splendid food for meals. - Marvellous location, really close to Convento de Santa Clara.

Clean and brilliant hotel, marvellous and lovely location next to main Square in old quarter. Location so close to the centre of the village and the family run restaurant. And not very far from Convent of San Blas. The Michelin star rated restaurant for dinner.

We received a very warm welcome from the patron. the hotel was spotlessly clean with lots of rustic charm and character. The breakfast was excellent value with fruit, yoghort, toast and local ham or jam. Service very friendly. Hotel was quiet with lovely views but was only a close walk to Lerma centre and Parador.

A very comfortable small Hotel with a friendly welcome. Recommend the superb evening meal at the adjoining resturant only 24 euros for 4 courses with wine

Well located near to main square of Lerma yet relatively peaceful, easy to find from autovia. Room spacious with well appointed ensuite bathroom. An excellent, plentiful breakfast.
A minor quibble but the radiators were difficult to adjust making the room a little hot.

The food here was exceptional with a wide variety of dishes on the menu, and the location was convenient for accessing the ferry ports at Santander or Bilbao.

The location is ideal. The lovely square is a couple of minutes away and all the sites are easily walkable. There was a good view from our bedroom, and the bathroom was fine.
The bed was a double - just - but the covering sheet was a single, so we spent a restless night struggling for our fair share. The key arrangement made the stay feel impersonal, and we didn't like the hard- sell for the restaurant. We had the discounted menu in the end, but the baby lamb was suspiciously overcooked and included a large, meatless bone which didn't seem to belong to our portion. We couldn't think why the breakfast coffee was undrinkable until we tried the milk, which was sour. Sadly, it was the least satisfactory hotel of our trip.

Easy to locate & excellent as a stopover on way from ther south to ferryport at Santander. Room was not large but was comfortable for an overnight stop. The restaurant was really nice with good food in the evening & at breakfast time. The staff were really friendly and helpful but everything is done in Spanish which is as it should be. Would be happy to use again on our regular travels to the south. Lerma (old town) itself was good for bars etc in the evening.

We were made very welcome from the moment we arrived. The hotel is an old property carefully done up with lots of old family photos throughout, the accommodation area has been modernised retaining the old look and feel.We stopped for just one night on our way through Spain. The hotel is right in the old town which is very beautiful. Our stay was in August.
Only one thing missing was airconditioning or even ceiling fans for the hotter months.
